Completed in 2020, the 19 week project involved the major redevelopment of the existing Tesco site car park, to allow for the construction of the new build McDonald’s.

The work involved major groundworks, in which the area was segregated from the public and trading Tesco Extra store.

Co-ordination of all incoming utilities into the site and liaising and maintaining good working relationships with Tesco management, was imperative due to the trading store.

The project comprised of the construction of a steel frame building, groundworks, completion of s278 highways works, M&E works and a full fit out of the restaurant in the new ‘Alphabet’ interior decor scheme, creating 100 covers.

The Drive Thru Lane was finished with an imprinted concrete and incorporated new digital signage.

Location: McDonald’s Long Eaton

Duration: 19 weeks

Set on the site of a former public house, this major redevelopment involved major groundworks around the area to form the new site.

Externally the existing overgrowth was removed, the existing tarmac, sub-base and soil/stone excavated and geo-stabilisation works and heavy duty piling works were carried out, to support the new building.

Our works included a full fit out of the building, including the external hard and soft landscaping, drive thru lane and signage.
